Happy Tuesday!
I don’t know about you but my skin is very sensitive and with the weather changing, my routines change. I know products are different for everyone but these are my favorite and maybe they’ll make a difference for you too!
Brilliant product #1
Smashbox photo foundation primer
Primers help your foundation stay on longer but mostly, I think it’s a great extra dose of moisture for the cold winter months to add a layer between your skin and foundation.
Brilliant product #2
Weleda Facial Almond Oil
Took me forever to find the right product to give me that glow that I wanted. It’s seriously amazing. Doesn’t break me out and provides mega moisture. I buy mine on Amazon but you may be able to find at organic and natural stores.
Brilliant product #3
JERGENS
Gradual color and they changed the smell, wahoo! Much better. Especially during holiday parties and events when you know pictures will be taken it’s nice to have a subtle hint of color.
Brilliant product #4:
Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo for Medium to Coarse Hair
On a photo shoot recently with a makeup artist I love and trust we were discussing my troubles of waxing, bleaching and more oh my for unwanted facial hair (read: mustache.) So after years of bleaching, waxing or threading (all too harsh, I’ve ended up with burns, breakouts and more- not sexy!) I tried this product and have been hooked ever since. And mega saves money vs. other treatments. (I cannot wax my own eyebrows- so I don’t take any chances there!) But for $20, 10 minutes of in-home-embarrassment-only and at least 12 uses, you can’t go wrong! It’s saved me hundreds of dollars (or will over time.)
Brilliant product #5 Clarisonic (since using it I have gotten “What are you using?” questions because my skin has that much improved.)
I love using this 2-3 times a week and wow, talk about a notice in dry skin disappearing! Use the facial oil afterward. I use the sensitive skin brush heads (No clue if the brush heads are really that much different but I love mine so I’ll stick with it!)
